setberg guesthouse was the perfect valentine's day getaway. the cozy room, friendly owner, and stunning views surpassed our expectations. we felt at home in this remote location, surrounded by breathtaking nature. highly recommend for a peaceful and rejuvenating stay.

Directions were a bit challenging.

This guesthouse is conveniently located near Hoefn, making it easy to access amenities and restaurants. The farmhouse is clean and well-designed, with modern bathrooms that include rain showers. The host is helpful and accommodating, providing tips on local activities and restaurants. The views from the guesthouse are stunning, and there is a hot bath and ice lagoon nearby. The beds are comfortable, and there is ample parking available.

The only downside is the lack of wifi, which can be inconvenient for travelers who rely on network data.

I had an amazing 16-hour stay at Setberg Guesthouse. The location was like a dream, with picturesque views of glaciers and mountains from my window. The hot pools and wetlands nearby were breathtaking, and I even got to see some adorable fluffy sheep. The rooms were beautifully renovated and spotlessly clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and complimentary coffee and tea. The host was friendly and allowed us to explore the stunning surrounding land. Highly recommended for a memorable and comfortable stay!

As a traveler, I really appreciated the stunning views and peaceful surroundings of this remodeled family farmhouse. the self-serve breakfast with a well-stocked kitchen made it easy for me to start my day. the owners, Stefan and Johann, were extremely accommodating and made me feel right at home. the cleanliness of the guesthouse was outstanding and the beds were very comfortable. the authenticity and tranquility of this setting made it my favorite B and B of my trip.

Working sheep farm by the mountains with waterfalls and glacier views. Spotlessly clean, freshly painted rooms. Adequate kitchen with calming glacial delta view. Close to essentials, restaurants, glacial lagoons, and national park. Friendly owner, wifi could be improved.

We had a wonderful stay at Setberg Guesthouse. the room and facilities were spotlessly clean and modern, with a completely new bathroom featuring a rain shower. the kitchen provided everything we needed for breakfast, including milk, cornflakes, yoghurt, and coffee. the host was incredibly friendly, helpful, and nice, making us feel at home. the location is perfect, with stunning views of the plains towards Höfn and the Hoffellsjökull glacier. We even had the opportunity to hike to a spectacular waterfall/rock formation right on the property. Cons: Everything is exactly what I needed and wanted. 🌟.

The lack of blackout blinds on the windows made it difficult to sleep during the night, especially in May when it stays light outside. Additionally, it would have been helpful to have a signpost from the main road to the property, as it was a bit challenging to find the guesthouse initially.
